Since arriving on the scene, Lemon Cherry Gelato has become one of the most popular offerings on the West Coast and now has roots in Illinois. Everyone has started making their own unique version of this sweet treat, but we like to keep it old school. The buds on this strain tend to grow upwards and have a dark color showing off the impressive dusting of sand-colored trichomes. There’s a definite funk right out of the jar with a sweet sense that gets left behind in favor of a woody, herbal front end and a sour cherry with lemon finish. As it develops during use, that citrus starts to dominate the flavor, but you’ll always be able to find that sweetness.
