I take this product in the evenings, so I am not awakened by joint pain. It helps me sleep a little more deeply, and I don’t seem to experience as much of the joint pain that used to wake me up during the night. If I take it during the day, I do notice it helps take the edge off stiffness/arthritic pain, relaxes me - but not to the point of being sleepy. I love this product & Papa & Barkley!
